Installation Context

Betaqua FRP Softeners are available in simplex (single tank) and duplex (two alternating tanks, no supply interruption) configurations to match production continuity requirements. Units are installed in a well-ventilated utility room, close to the feed water source and brine salt tank. A separate brine tank must be positioned alongside the vessel within a maximum pipe run of 3 metres for efficient regeneration. Required utilities include feed water at minimum 2 bar pressure, 220 V power for automatic valves and timers, and a drain for regeneration backwash water (approximately 2-5% of production volume). Commissioning takes 1-2 working days including before-and-after hardness testing, regeneration timer setting, and operator training.
