BETAGARD 4040 is a clear to slightly turbid liquid with high Al2O3 content. This product functions as a coagulant or sludge conditioning agent in the solids-liquid separation process. BETAGARD 4040 is very effectively used in water and sewage treatment to reduce turbidity, color, and other contaminants such as natural organic matter from surface water.
