Compact Sewage Treatment Plant | Beta Pramesti Asia

A Betaqua compact sewage treatment plant treats domestic wastewater in a chemical-resistant FRP tank with biological media and a compact footprint. Unit selection still depends on average and peak flow, BOD, COD, TSS, and ammonia loads, the effluent target, site constraints, utilities, and the operating plan.

PT Beta Pramesti Asia supplies Betaqua compact STPs for buildings, hotels, hospitals, estates, and industrial facilities in Indonesia. Project review covers the process, tanks, civil works, connections, installation, commissioning, maintenance access, and sludge management.

Indonesia’s Minister of Environment/Environmental Control Agency Regulation No. 11 of 2025 governs domestic-wastewater quality standards and treatment-technology standards. The design target must follow the applicable schedule, discharge or reuse route, environmental approval, and local project requirements.

Technically reviewed: 1 August 2026.

Flow, load, effluent target, and site conditions determine the STP configuration

The configuration should not be selected from user count or tank volume alone. The following data determine equalisation, biological treatment, solids separation, disinfection, controls, and sludge handling.

Project dataWhy it is neededDecision supported
Average flow, peak flow, and usage patternSeparates the daily load from morning, evening, or shift-change peaksBuffer volume, pump capacity, and train count
Wastewater sourcesDistinguishes toilets, washrooms, kitchens, laundry, and specialised streamsSegregation, grease control, screening, and pretreatment
BOD, COD, TSS, ammonia, oil and greaseDefines the hydraulic and pollutant loads to be treatedBiological process, aeration, media, and solids separation
Effluent or reuse targetDefines the outlet quality that must be demonstratedDisinfection, filtration or polishing, and sampling points
Space, elevations, access, power, and ventilationDetermines whether the package can be installed and maintained safelyLayout, lifting, panels, pipe routes, and service clearance
Operator and sludge planDefines inspection, desludging, sampling, and the sludge destinationMaintenance access, storage, and operating cost

Published specifications require project confirmation

The available product data define the package’s base materials, but do not set one process capacity, dimension, equipment count, or outlet quality for every site. Confirm the final specification in the project data sheet, equipment list, drawings, and approved design basis before purchase.

A compact STP quotation should define its design basis and work boundaries

A comparable quotation states the design basis, work boundaries, tested performance, and operating responsibilities. Request the following evidence before comparing package prices.

  1. Flow basis, pollutant loads, wastewater sources, and effluent or reuse target.
  2. Process flow diagram, tank volumes, and the list of pumps, blowers, diffusers, media, instruments, panels, and alarms.
  3. Boundaries for civil works, excavation, foundations, lifting, pipework, cabling, ventilation, and utilities.
  4. Commissioning, biological load ramp, sampling, laboratory testing, and operator-training plan.
  5. Acceptance criteria, stable test period, response to failed results, warranty, spares, and service schedule.

Where the project needs pretreatment or operating support, review DAF for physical separation, wastewater treatment chemicals, and the industrial sludge treatment programme. Send the project data through the Beta contact page.

Betaqua compact STP FAQs

Is user count enough to select STP capacity?

No. User count is only an early estimate. Final selection needs the flow profile, wastewater sources, BOD, COD, TSS, ammonia, oil and grease, effluent target, site conditions, and operating hours.

Does the STP package include civil works and installation?

The boundary must be confirmed in the quotation. Foundations, excavation, lifting, interface pipework, cabling, ventilation, utilities, installation, commissioning, and training can sit under different parties on each project.

Which data should be sent for an evaluation?

Send the flow profile, user and source breakdown, influent analysis, outlet target, site plan, elevations, utilities, discharge route, work boundaries, operating model, and project schedule.
